Mini Movers
Children's Division
The Mini Movers program introduces children ages 3–6 to the fundamentals of ballet, jazz, and tap in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. Through creative movement and structured technique, students build coordination, musicality, confidence, and self-expression while developing a love for dance. Classes alternate weekly between styles to provide a well-rounded foundation, and all performances are optional, allowing each child to grow at their own pace. With small class sizes and a focus on individual attention, Mini Movers creates a safe and inspiring space for young dancers to move, learn, and thrive.
Mini Movers Program
About
Mini Movers is Oklahoma Dance Center’s early childhood dance program designed to introduce young children to the joy of movement, music, and creative expression in a nurturing and engaging environment. Through age-appropriate instruction, students develop coordination, balance, rhythm, listening skills, confidence, and classroom readiness while building a strong foundation for future dance training. Classes are structured to encourage imagination, creativity, and a love for the arts while helping young dancers gain independence and social skills in a positive setting.

Performance Opportunities
Mini Movers students have the opportunity to participate in Oklahoma Ballet Theatre performances and Oklahoma Dance Center showcases throughout the season, allowing them to build confidence and experience the excitement of performing on stage.

Students should arrive dressed and ready for class. Comfortable, properly fitted dance attire helps ensure a safe and successful learning experience while allowing instructors to provide quality technical instruction.
