Oklahoma Ballet Theatre proudly announces an exciting upcoming double bill performance featuring a stunning classical rendition of the beloved ballet Paquita alongside the world premiere of a brand-new western-inspired ballet work created exclusively for our dancers and audiences.
Originally choreographed during the Romantic era of ballet, Paquita is celebrated for its dazzling classical variations, grand ensemble work, and vibrant Spanish-inspired style. This production will honor the elegance and technical brilliance that have made the ballet a treasured part of the classical repertoire for generations.
Paired with this timeless masterpiece will be the debut of an original western-themed ballet that captures the spirit, storytelling, and Americana beauty of the frontier. Inspired by campfire tales, sweeping landscapes, and the resilience of the American West, this new production aims to blend classical ballet with bold theatrical storytelling in a fresh and exciting way.
This upcoming double bill represents an important artistic step forward for Oklahoma Ballet Theatre as we continue expanding opportunities for young artists while creating new original works for our community.
If you or your business would be interested in supporting, sponsoring, or helping bring this project to life, please contact us at info@okyoutharts.org. More details, official announcements, and performance dates will be coming soon.
